This was a three bedroom townhouse that we designed and decorated from top to bottom. The owner was a returning TINI customer and had just remodeled this townhouse in the Beverly Center area to use as a vacation rental property.

He gave us a blank slate (not a single piece of furniture in the entire house) and thirteen days to complete the project. More than 150 pieces of furniture, accessories, art and decor went into the house, and on the fourteenth day, his first tenant moved in. (We felt like we were on a reality show…finish this project in 13 days with a very small budget.) But the project came out great, and the tenants and owner have loved it.

Our goal was to create a clean, modern, playful design that was accessible and comfortable for everyone (since it was for rental), without being ordinary. Quirky was great, but strange or avant garde would be too much for the average renter.
